~ Reaching out to those in need ~
I am called Fr. Paul Bigirwa, born on the 6th October 1972.
I come from Western Uganda, Igayaza Village.
I come from a very humble beginning and my Vocation developed from this factor.
Right from my Childhood I dreamt of alleviating the suffering of others and the best way to do this was to detach myself from the world.
I was Ordained a Priest on the 1/7/2000 and since then I have worked in different places in different Continents.
In my life, have lived with the young and old, the healthy and the sick, lowliest and the highest, the hungry and the satisfied and in all these experiences I have noted the FOLLOWING:

In my life, have lived with the young and old, the healthy and the sick, lowliest and the highest, the hungry and the satisfied and in all these experiences I have noted the FOLLOWING:
- We all Love to be Loved, so love is a uniting factor irrespective of race, religion of condition of being.
- We are all intrinsically good, we are only corrupted and confused by world/ the evil.
- We are all interdependent, no one is an island.
- The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; They just make the best of everything they have.
- There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.
- Never Give Up – When things get tough that is when you must not surrender”
- The essence of being human is that one does not seek perfection, we are all weak and we should bear with each other.
- Looking at the resources of this world, we can all lived happily.
- And I have learnt Never To Give Up – When things get tough that is when we must not surrender”
- It is against this background that I have tried to light one candle other than curse the darkness, that is never to lament but use the possible means to achieve the best especially in the PASTORAL, EDUCATION, HEALTH and POVERTY eradication Sectors.
ST. THERESA OF JESUS
St. Theresa of the Child Jesus has been my My Model and has inspired me greatly.
She has taught me the little way and to suffer without complaining.
Whenever I ask her, she never lets me down,
I will always LOVE her and promote her throughout my life.
About St. Theresa: St. Thérèse of Lisieux
St. Thérèse of Lisieux, known by many as La Petite Fleur, or "the Little Flower," never had the opportunity to engage in mission work, but due to her extraordinary love for the missions and her continual prayers and letters of encouragement to the Carmelite mission, she was named among the patron saints of missions.
